Awesome show!
Not afraid to indulge in genuine affection for these nostalgic classics. This is a very fun and informative show and the hosts stick to looking at the movies for what they were in the 80s. They’re definitely one of the best retro movie podcasts out there.

Thief review
Thanks for the great review of Thief. Been many years since I last saw it and didn’t appreciate as much as I should have the first view. The mood set up by Tangerine Dreams’ score is so perfect and I felt along the ways that I was watching an extended Miami Vice episode. The only disagreement I have with you is with Tuesday Weld. I really enjoyed the development of their relationship and it felt very real and loving to me. Also so impressed with how Michael Mann brought out both the beauty and the grit of Chicago.

Hidden Gem!
These guys are the best! I equate a podcast to a long road trip with friends. These are two guys I would love to take along. They are entertaining and insightful. They do their homework! The best part is hearing. “What is your thought Bill BANT!”

Great podcast
I found your podcast a couple of months ago and I'm hooked. Although I don't always agree with your reviews, it's still enjoyable.
80s goodness
Really very very good , glad I stumbled across these two gentlemen , entertaining and informative. The way the episodes are structured is cool and consistent throughout the episodes which adds to informative nature of the pod I suppose. Very professional yet has a feel as if you are just listening to two friends having an in depth conversation into the movies of your childhood (age depending of course) anyway , all thumbs up , would highly recommend blah blah stop reading this and go listen to some .

Great podcast about 80s movies
Informative podcast with very likeable hosts. My only (hoped constructive) criticism would be that with so many 80s movies, I would prefer more of a focus on some of the really big (not necessarily great) movies that we all know and love. The research put into, and interesting information revealed for each movie would allow greater appreciation of some of these movies. I had to rewatch Aliens after listening to the episodes about this movie - just because the show does such an excellent job of rekindling the nostalgia. This would (in my opinion) be better served being focussed on the better known movies (for example, The Terminator).
Overall though, love the show, keep doing it guys! Thank you very much 😁

I dig this
I have always enjoyed 80s movies being a 90s kid growing up. Wasn’t sure at first but after pressing play on ep1 I was hooked, also being from Detroit I never knew robocop was everything but filmed in Michigan.

Brian Scott. Horror movie fanboy on Twitter saying amazing podcast. What’s better than 80s movies. Nothing! Lol y’all rule. That review of raiders lost ark. Amazing. You hit on every scene and I love that y’all delved into the mystery even in the smallest scenes accompanied by John Williams score. Amazing stuff guys

Maybe the best Podcast of all!
As a product of the 80s and a salesman on the road, this Podcast is a gift. The hosts are a perfect match, Bill is a bit reserved and Jason is the opposite. Keep up the good work guys… and keep em coming.

This podcast is speaking my language! As someone who spent their childhood with the films of the 80’s, the nostalgia factor here is real. I started with the episode covering Summer School. I was instantly zapped back in time and forgot it’s 2021. These hosts are so clearly in love with the films of this decade. Their passion and knowledge is unmatched. Based on their conversation I immediately logged onto to my computer and purchased a digital copy of the film. I truly mean this when I say, this is a must listen. Please subscribe, rate and review these folks! We all need more of this in our lives!
